Portland Bach Festival

Stars and Stripes Spectacular
Celebrate the 4th of July in Portland with a free festival, concert, fireworks, and 70,000 spectators! The Stars & Stripes Spectacular concert and fireworks display is held on Monday, July 4th with a rain date of Tuesday, July 5th.

Old Port Half Marathon + 5K
Run a fun, fast, and beautiful 5k. Portland’s premier summer running event cuts through the heart of the Old Port district and West End neighborhood, and features sweeping views of the Casco Bay and its many islands, ferries, sailboats, lobster boats, tug boats, paddlers, and the Presumpscot River.

TD Beach To Beacon 10K
Join runners of all abilities from across the country and around the world at the starting line. Experience the same environment, sense of community and rich history that played an important role for Cape Elizabeth native Joan Benoit Samuelson, who won the first-ever women’s Marathon at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles.

Great Falls Balloon Festival

Farm to Fork Fondo

Men’s Health magazine called the Farm to Fork Fondo a “2017 Bucket List Event!”

The Maine Marathon features a moderately hilly out-and-back course for marathon, relay and half marathons, and is open to participants of all skill levels. The spectator-friendly course starts and finishes along the beautiful inner bay of the Back Cove. The marathon is a qualifier for the Boston Marathon.
