Northumberland Ferries Limited (“NFL”) is seeking applications for a Human Resources Coordinator. This is a year-round, full-time, excluded position primarily located in Charlottetown, PEI with regular travel to Wood Islands, PEI from May to November. This position will also require occasional travel to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
NFL and its sister companies, Bay Ferries Limited (“BFL”) and Bay Ferries Management Limited (“BFML”), operate and maintain ferries, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and environmental protection. Our group of companies is recognized as an efficient, competent, and innovative ferry service provider. We have a small, capable, multi-functional management team, assisted by more than 300 direct employees, and various specialized sub-contractors. While you will be an employee of NFL, your duties will also entail working for BFL and BFML.
The Human Resources Coordinator’s primary responsibilities relate to the recruitment and retention of employees. They will also provide administrative assistance in a variety of human resources functions as may be required. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources.
Due to the confidentiality, security obligations, and travel requirements of this position, a Criminal Record Check, a driver’s license, and a dependable means of transportation are conditions of employment.
