Terminal Manager: Saint John, NB – BFL

Bay Ferries Limited (BFL) operates MV Fundy Rose, a a year-round ferry service across the Bay of Fundy between Digby, Nova Scotia and Saint John, New Brunswick.

We are currently recruiting a Terminal Manager for our facility in Saint John, New Brunswick. This is a year-round, full-time management position.

Your role is to effectively lead the team at Saint John Terminal including subcontractors, ensuring a consistent high standard of safety, security, and customer service. The position requires a strong level of written and verbal communication and an ability to build relationships, both internal and external. You will promote teamwork, enhance the customer experience, continuously improve terminal operations, and oversee warehousing, shipping and receiving.

The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary degree or diploma in Business or a related field. You will have experience managing a passenger transportation terminal, preferably in the marine industry, be knowledgeable with warehousing, and experienced with customer service standards. You have a record of success with employee engagement, coaching, building teams, managing a unionized and non-unionized workforce, and achieving operational results. French/English bilingualism is an asset.

This position requires a willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include early morning, weekend and evening work, and occasional travel.
