Start your trip with comfortable Downeaster travel service to Brunswick, ME and you will be whisked away to Bar Harbor, ME, home of Acadia National Park. Enjoy a visit to all the main sites of Acadia before departing on The CAT ferry to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. You will transfer to Halifax with scenic stops along the way featuring Historic Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After a lovely night’s sleep in Halifax, you will pass through this vibrant city viewing historic buildings and modern high rises lining the street, visit the Victoria Public Gardens, and much more plus an afternoon tour of Peggy’s Cove. From Halifax, travel to Baddeck and take a tour of the Cabot Trail, which has been described as nature’s longest roller coaster. On Day 6 enjoy a tour of the Fortress of Louisbourg, watch French colonial soldiers fire muskets and cannons, smell fresh bread as it comes from the brick ovens, and try your hand at quill writing or lace making. After departing Baddeck for Halifax, you will begin your return to Yarmouth with a scenic tour / transfer via the North coast with stops at Grand Pre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Annapolis and Digby.
