Don’t Miss the Boat!
It’s Time to Be on Time
We’ve always said you should arrive at least 1 hour prior to departure time. It’s a policy that’s been in place for years—but in reality, it’s a policy that hasn’t been strictly enforced. Whether someone was stuck in traffic or a GPS led them astray, we would often wait for late arrivals at the ferry terminal.
Through passenger feedback, however, we realize one of the best ways to enhance overall satisfaction is by ensuring on-time departures. It makes our passengers happy, it improves schedule reliability, and it’s better for the environment—with reduced idling, CO2 emissions, and fuel consumption.
Here’s how you won’t miss the boat for your next Maritime journey between Nova Scotia and New Brunswick:
Reservations, Check-Ins & Boarding Times
- Reservations are highly recommended for all passengers travelling on the Fundy Rose.
- All passengers—with or without confirmed reservations—must be checked-in and available for boarding at least one hour prior to the vessel’s scheduled sailing time.
- If you have a reservation and miss your check-in time, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and place you on our waiting list on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Anyone without a reservation will be added to the wait list.
