July 29, 2025 - Update to Fares
The Government of Canada is making ferry travel in the Maritimes more affordable.
Effective August 1, 2025, this initiative will reduce fares by 50% on Bay Ferries and Northumberland Ferries services between Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. This discount applies to vehicle, passenger, foot passenger, commercial fares and fuel surcharges. Customers with existing reservations for travel on or after August 1 will automatically receive a refund by August 31. View revised fares below. You can view the previous fares here.

Change/Cancellation Policy and Procedure
Reservations for non-discounted fares may be modified or cancelled for a full refund prior to the scheduled departure. A fee of $25 applies to no-shows. Sale/discounted fares may have additional change/cancellation restrictions.
