On Board Cafés
Join us in the Salt Water Café for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Hot and cold menu items and beverages are available.
Viewing Decks
The viewing decks provide a chance to stroll and admire the stunning views of the Northumberland Strait. Spot seals, birds and even porpoises swimming alongside the ships. Relax outdoors and savour the sea breeze during the crossing.
Quiet Room
Located on MV Confederation (E Deck), this quiet room offers a peaceful haven; whether you seek a quiet space to nurse a child or to accommodate your sensory sensitivities. Please ask a crew member to gain access.
Salt Water Scoops
During the summer season, indulge in an ice cream treat, savour the sweetness of candies, and explore an assortment of branded merchandise at Salt Water Scoops, located aboard MV Confederation (E Deck).
Wi-Fi Access
We are pleased to offer complimentary Wi-Fi access. To ensure a pleasant travel experience for all passengers, data size is limited to 1 Mbps per passenger. Due to limited bandwidth, certain webpages are slower than others, particularly sites displaying video and images.
Music on Deck
Northumberland Ferries' Music on Deck Program features top regional talents performing on board select departures from July through September. Plus, catch additional musical performances in ferry terminals on select summer dates.
