Prince Edward Island’s festivals and events season may not be year-round, but we manage to pack a lot of fun from spring to fall. Kicking off with the Ceilidh at the Irish Hall in May, it’s one big celebration until October, so make sure you’re ready for fun and entertainment when you plan your Island vacation.
The College of Piping in Summerside hosts an annual Highland Gathering, then Island Fusion gets summer started with a province-wide cultural celebration featuring many great events including the Festival of Small Halls, the Rollo Bay Bluegrass Festival, PEI Fiddle Camp, Sunday Night Shenanigans, the Victoria Playhouse Festival, the Scotchfort Pow Wow, Canada Day festivities, College of Piping Ceilidhs, Charlottetown Summerfest, and more.
Prince Edward Island is equally famous for its land’s rich bounty as it is for its delectable seafood. The aptly named Fall Flavours Festival is a month-long culinary celebration highlighting authentic Island tastes and traditions, featuring celebrity guest chefs, exquisite dining, and a wide range of unique culinary experiences.
The Cavendish Beach Music Festival brings world-class country music entertainment to the region’s most popular vacation destination. Featuring world-renowned artists, garden concerts, and even a ceilidh on the water.
