Northumberland Ferries Limited is pleased to announce that ferry service linking PEI and Nova Scotia will be expanded to six daily round trip sailings when the Atlantic Provinces Travel Bubble comes into effect on July 3, 2020.
The new sailing schedule seven days per week is as follows:
From PEI: 0630, 0930, 1115, 1430, 1600, 1900
From NS: 0800, 1115, 1300, 1600, 1730, 2030
As passenger capacity remains at 50% to help enforce safe social distancing, Northumberland Ferries Limited strongly recommends that travellers (including walk-on) make reservations to prevent disappointment. This will also help us plan daily loads for safe distancing and help us trace contacts should there be a future need. Reservations are available online or by calling toll free at 1-877-762-7245 (0800-2300 Atlantic, 7 days per week).
As per Transport Canada guidelines, passengers must bring and wear a face covering when appropriate social distancing cannot be maintained, including within terminal buildings, while embarking/disembarking, and moving around the vessel. Northumberland Ferries Limited also reserves the right to make face coverings mandatory at all times during the voyage should circumstances warrant.
To view the ferry schedule and review important travel information required in advance of your voyage. All sailing schedules remain subject to the approval of the Provincial Health Authorities of Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia.
We look forward to sailing with you soon.
