Sailor’s Scavenger Hunt

Have you ever looked for a lighthouse, searched for a seabird, or found a fishing boat? If you have, you may be well on your way to completing the Sailor’s Scavenger Hunt!

The Hunt

Sailor’s Scavenger Hunt maps are available online with paper copies available on board our ferries starting June 1. Each map includes a list of items to search for. For a chance to win a prize, take a photo of yourself or your travel partner on the ferry participating in the scavenger hunt and post it on Instagram (@nflbayferries or @thecatferry) or Facebook (@nflbayferries or @thecatferry). Be sure to tag the ferry service you’re on—@nflbayferries or @thecatferry—and mention “Sailor’s Scavenger Hunt” in the post.

Contest Details

• Entries will be collected from June 1 – August 31, 2023. At the end of each month, one winner drawn at random will receive round-trip ferry passage for two* and a $100 Irving Oil Gift Card.
• The more photos you post, the more chances you have to win.
• *Round-trip passage is for two with a standard vehicle, on the ferry service of your choice: PEI – Nova Scotia, New Brunswick – Nova Scotia, or Maine – Nova Scotia.
• A new winner will be chosen if the original winner does not collect their prize within 24 hours of notification.
